Today - Saturday, December 20th - Facebook.com has been offline all day. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? When I go to their website I get this message :
Sorry, an error has occurred.
We're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can.

I am surprised at myself, however, getting hysterical over a damn socializing website.
But how am I to know what is going on with everyone? Oh my, whatever shall I do?
UPDATE: I followed the instructions that "anomonyous" left me, using the https instead of http and Voila, I made it in the door to Facebook! Thank you.
I accessed facebook this morning without any problems and just tried again a few minutes ago and was able to log in...
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear it, Sheri, but I've been on Facebook several times today with no problems. Hmm...
ReplyDeleteI connected OK with Facebook today, Sheri. You'll be back before you know it. Marry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteSheri, you funny girl! I'd tell ya to get a life, but who am I to be advising? I've had Facebook all day--ask me how I know--no, wait, don't do that. Too bad you are not further north--you could have been watching full-time winter storm coverage all day instead--ask me how I kn...--oh, never mind. Could be worse: you might have caught the Amtrak to Portland. If you had, you would have spent the last four hours sitting a mile short of Union Station on a train with no power. But wait, there's more--it's sitting by an intersection with the clanging, flashing signal light going constantly. Yeah! Fun stuff!
ReplyDeleteFrom what I understand, if you updated an IE7 security patch, a glitch happened with the facebook page.
ReplyDeleteTo get in now, type in "https" instead of "http" in the facebook URL, and you will likely get in. I had the same issue and it worked for me.
