Into The Frying Pan.....

Boy oh boy have I jumped right into it. I am a member of the San Joaquin Genealogical Society and the El Toyon Chapter DAR. A couple of months ago both groups along with the Stockton Public Library decided to have a genealogy workshop for beginners. I said, "Wow, that would be great!" and they said, "We're glad you think it's great - you put it together." Me and my big mouth.

I think I have done well, for not knowing what the hell I am doing. I have a date and a place and an outline of what activities are planned. The library printed flyers, I have a few volunteers. I even have a volunteer that has a PowerPoint presentation!
(Read the last "Sheri went to Samford" post to find the humor in this.)

Here is the final product:

Thanks Thomas,
PowerPoint and I have never even met! I am technology challenged. I am hoping to get help soon for this problem!
